About Branch County Criminal History

Branch County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff’s Office, the District and Circuit Courts in Coldwater, Michigan State Police, the corrections system, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. Each source answers a different question. This private reference site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the proper portal, office, or telephone number without treating one database as a complete record.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan provides several public access routes, but no single search returns every part of a Branch County criminal history. The Branch County Sheriff’s Office maintains local law-enforcement and jail records. The 3-A District Court holds misdemeanor cases and the opening stages of felonies, while the County Clerk keeps 15th Circuit Court felony files. Michigan State Police’s Criminal Justice Information Center operates ICHAT for releasable statewide conviction history. MDOC maintains OTIS, and MSP manages the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. The site brings the verified contacts, fees, search steps, and limits of those systems into one practical reference.
